24/7 Security Services Rules
Access Control
- 1. Adhere to Company Dress Code, shaved, neat and tidy and clearly display ID card.
- 2. Be visible in/outside guard house; do not leave post unless released by colleague.
- 3. No unauthorized personnel allowed in guard house.
- 4. No fraternizing with the public or off duty colleagues.
- 5. Guard house lights must remain switched on between sunset and sunrise;
- 6. No lounging on chairs, sleeping, drinking or being drunk on duty.
- 7. Chairs to remain inside the guard house;
- 8. Doors to remain open at all times;
- 9. No eating, drinking in the view of public.
- 10. No smoking whilst on duty;
- 11. Guard house and surroundings to remain neat and tidy.
- 12. Be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to Armed Response Officer immediately.
- 13. Be professional and courteous at all times.
- 14. Portable two way radios must be switched on at all times.
- 15. Wear Panic button around the neck at all times
- 16. Record contract address and registration number of all construction/contractor vehicles entering the area.
- 17. Ensure cameras are positioned correctly all times and report any damages.
- 18. Report faulty booms and services immediately.

OPERATION
- 1. Under no circumstances shall any guard allow any non-tag holder, be it a resident or a visitor, into the area without recording the registration number and address of the person;
- 2. The dedicated 24/7 Armed reaction Officer on duty must be alerted immediately of any suspicious person or vehicle or any abuse directed towards the guard;
- 3. All persons without access tags to be signed in/out at the Essenhout entrance only;
- 4. Vehicle registration and address to be recorded in the access control book;
- 5. Any vehicles or pedestrians with no specific address to go to must be escorted by the ARO in the dedicated vehicle;
- 6. Emergency vehicles to be allowed access at both entrances without delay upon enquiry of emergency address and the 24/7 dedicated patrol vehicle to be alerted immediately to escort and offer assistance;
- 7. In the event of a power failure booms must be operated manually;
- a. Entrance boom at Juniper to be kept open and “Road Closed” sign to be placed before the exit boom. Traffic exiting at Juniper must be re-directed to the Essenhout exit;
- b. Visitors entrance boom at Essenhout to be closed and all traffic entering at Essenhout Street to be directed to the contributing residents boom;
- 8. No vehicles in excess of 3.5 ton to be allowed entry or exit at Essenhout Street entrance;
- 9. Vehicles in excess of 3.5 ton to be allowed entry and exit at Juniper Street entrance only and once registration number and address has been recorded;
